Four pieces — one clear flow

Project = the site and sale. Jobs = crew tasks. Quote = the price the client agrees to.

Client

Who you're doing the work for — name, mobile, site details.

Project

The site and the sale — Lead, Quoted, Accepted, Scheduled.

Job

What your crew does on site — install, gates, measure-up.

Quote

What the client pays — send a link, they accept online.

The job workflow in 5 steps

From first call to crew on site — no training day required.

  1. Step 1

    Add the client

Save their details once — reuse on every job.

Put the customer under Clients with mobile and email. When a new enquiry comes in, you pick them from the list instead of retyping.

  2. Step 2

    Create a project

One project per site (e.g. “Smith pool fence, Brighton”).

Add the site address for Maps, set status to Lead, then move to Quoted when you send pricing. Accepted means they said yes.

  3. Step 3

    Measure & price

Walk the site, run calculators, build the quote.

Use site measure on your phone, pick a fence calculator for materials, then turn it into a quote with GST. No spreadsheet required.

  4. Step 4

    Send the quote

Client gets a link — accepts or rejects online.

They tap accept on their phone. Your project status moves to Accepted automatically. No chasing emails.

  5. Step 5

    Schedule & run jobs

Break work into jobs, assign crew, update from site.

Add jobs with due dates — they appear on your dashboard schedule. Crew update status, photos, and progress from the paddock.

Common questions

Quick answers before you create an account.

What is the difference between a project and a job?

A project is the whole site and sale — enquiry through to completion. Jobs are the pieces of work your crew runs (install, gates, measure-up). One project usually has several jobs.

When a client accepts a quote, what changes?

The quote is marked accepted and the project status can move to Accepted. That tracks the sale. Individual jobs still have their own crew status (Ready, In Progress, Completed).

Do I need a credit card to try it?

No. Start a 14-day free trial with no credit card. One plan at $20 AUD/month includes the owner account and all features, plus $2 per extra staff seat.

Can my crew use it on their phones?

Yes. The app is mobile-ready — site measure, job updates, photos, and schedule work from any phone browser.

What fence types can I calculate?

Colorbond, timber, glass pool, aluminium batten, chain mesh, and more. Calculators produce a bill of materials and sell price you can turn straight into a quote.

Is my business data separate from other users?

Yes. Every fencing business gets its own secure workspace. Your clients, quotes, and documents are never shared with other accounts.
